Trial protocol
Run the same seven tests in every candidate
- Create two overlapping test cohorts and verify that schedules, discussions, announcements, and access do not leak between them.
- Enroll one learner early, one on time, and one late; test drip dates, catch-up work, prerequisites, and completion.
- Schedule a live class, send reminders, record attendance, publish the replay, and notify absent learners.
- Grade an assignment or assessment, leave feedback, and verify the award rule. After cohort access ends, check the earned certificate separately; access expiry is not universal revocation.
- Clone or rebuild the program for cohort two and measure every manual step that must be repeated.
- Test instructor permissions, concurrent sessions, time zones, calendar files, cancellations, and rescheduling.

Write the rule and the observation separately
- Required evidence: write the attendance or practical-work rule first. Name the provider, device and join route you need to support; do not treat an app-specific example as a universal platform rule.
- Observed evidence: in an already-permitted preview or isolated trial, compare the actual report with the intended route. Record the available join time, duration, source and status; leave missing fields unknown rather than filling them with assumptions.
- Correction record: keep live attendance, replay completion and manual corrections separate. For a manual completion, record the reason, reviewer and evidence used; a correction is not proof that automatic tracking worked.
Can a replay completion count as live attendance?
Not by itself. LearnWorlds documents replay completion as a status update without the other live-session fields. Keep a separate live-attendance requirement if your course needs it; watching or clicking alone does not demonstrate a practical skill.
Does a missing Teams attendance record prove someone was absent?

For an informal workshop, an existing meeting tool and a blank attendance sheet may be enough. Define the evidence and correction process either way.
